This walnut was lovingly rescued from Petaluma, Ca. It was cut and hand carved, then finished with beeswax and mineral oil. That means it's food safe!
Each piece showcases the natural beauty of the wood, including knots, blemishes and color variation that you won’t find in machine-manufactured products. This piece features worm holes and a crotch, the place where branch meets tree and makes exceptionally beautiful figures in the grain.
This is the type of piece you can really load up with fruit, cheese, salad (and on and on), because with the carved tray you will have nothing rolling off onto the floor, much to your dog's sadness.
